Eric the alpaca came to Cantref Adventure Farm in 2010 with his brother Digby. He is loving his new home in the Brecon Beacons. He is a very sociable chap and loves to come up to the fence to see the families on their day out at Cantref. Eric especially loves children whoi have come for their family day out!
Alpacas come from Peru, Chile and Bolivia and they are herbivores. Eric is a Huacaya Alpaca which are prized for their luxurious fleece.
Did you know if you keep Alpacas with your Chickens or Lambs they will protect them from Foxes!
