
Gismo is a rescue goat. Cantref Adventure Farm rehomed him in 2007. He is a male goat which is called either a Billy or a Buck. His long horns help him to disperse heat, goats do not sweat.
He is very cheeky and makes the children at Cantref laugh when he scratches his horns on the fence and the sign on his pen.
Gismo is a Cashmere goat. This breed of goat have long silky hair which is used to make various textile fabrics. The Cashmere goat is bigger than a pygmy goat but smaller than a dairy goat. They usually come in shades of grey, brown and white.
The Cashmere goat originates from the Himalaya mountains of Tibet, India and China. Gismo has settled well into his home in the Brecon Beacons.
