The Cantref Adventure Farm pony ride sessions are £2 per rider (plus the snazzy rosette!).
These rides are ideal for children who have little or no experience of horse riding and are led around by a friendly member of the show team.
Riding hats are provided free of charge and must be worn at all times.
Children must be 93cm or over to ride a pony and the pony rides are available periodically throughout the day.

We are within easy reach of Abergavenny, Hereford, Brecon, Merthyr Tydfil and Cardiff.
Tractor Rides return to Cantref Easter 2013 (from 23rd March 2013). The Animal Encounter Tractor and Trailer Ride drives around the farm to show the different animals in the fields.
The ride is taken by our show team and they will give you information about each of the animals you will meet.
Some of the animals you might see include Shetland Ponies, Donkeys, Rare Breed Sheep, Cows, Llamas, Alpacas, Guanacos and Water Buffalo. You will also be amazed by the spectacular views we have of the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains.
This great activity is included within your admission price and makes it all part of your favourite family day out in South Wales.

The Jungle Swamp Adventure Ride is one of the many family activites to do at Cantref. The ride is suitable for all ages*.
Meander around our twisty course using the ropes hanging above to pull the boat along. As with all the great family attractions,it is included in admission.
*Children must be accompdanied by an adult.
Cantref Adventure Farm is an award winning attraction and can be easily reached from Cardiff, Bristol, Carmarthen and the West Midlands.
Splash and paddle in our very own paddle boats. The children's boat ride is set in a safe and secure environment.
The paddle boats are open periodically throughout the day - check out the daily programme for more information.
Please note that children must be 93cm or over to use the boats and they are not suitable for adults.

The outdoor play area includes trampolines, trikes, a sand pit and wendy house; all part of the Cantref play farm and like all our activites it is included in admission.

Set at the bottom of the sledge ride, the ball skills area is an excellent opportunity for everyone to try out their football skills.
Set in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, Wales, the ball skills area is an fantastic place to get some fresh air!
Set in the heart of the Farm Park, the wooden agility course will test your balance and skill as you undertake the course overlooking the Black Mountains. As with all our family days out, the wooden agility course is included in admission.
Europe's longest Super Sledge Ride is part of the outdoor adventure at Cantref Adventure Farm!
Whoosh down the slide which is all part of a great kids day out - the adults will also really enjoy it!! Set in the stunning Brecon Beacons, with fantastic views of the Black Mountains you will feel on top of the world! The sledge ride is included within the admission making it great value for money.
The water sprinklers make it go even faster - will you win the next race?
For our smaller customers; you may prefer to use the Junior Sledge Ride - the perfect little training run in preparation for the Super Sledge Ride!
Please note that the sledge ride opens periodically throughout the day and is included within the admission price - just a small part of our excellent value for money day out in Brecon!
