The animals

Discover a world of wonder at Cantref Adventure Farm! Home to a diverse range of captivating creatures, our farm is a haven for animal lovers. From the gentle giants of our water buffalo to the playful antics of our goat family, there's always something new to discover. Encounter rare breed sheep, adorable piglets, and exotic rheas. Our Shetland ponies and donkeys are perfect for little hands to pet, while our majestic horses and alpacas add a touch of elegance.

Our rides

Cantref is home to Europe's longest sledge ride which is exhilarating fun for the whole family especially the adults who often go the fastest!

Another outdoor attraction which the whole family can join in with is the Jungle Swamp Adventure Boat Ride.

This involves team work to negotiate your way around the canal of water but watch out for the hidden jungle animals as you go round. You will also be rewarded with breath-taking views of the peaks of the Brecon Beacons including Pen Y Fan.

Foam parties

During the summer we have a foam party where the kids can have a great time playing with the foam but beware they will get wet!

During the summer school holidays through to October half term we have our maize maze which has a different theme each year.

This is a great way to get some gentle exercise as you try to find your way round the maze of paths and find the hidden clues as you go round. This is a great way to bring the family together is this fun activity.

Play areas

At Cantref we have various outdoor play areas including our Dragon Slide, Tree Slide, Trampoline, Sand Pit, Wendy House and Ball Skills. We have a great new Sand and Water play area.

Here the kid's can pump water with the water pump and change the direction of the water on our water tables using sand. There is also a small climbing frame with hoists and pulleys to pull up the sand.

This is sure to give the kid's loads of entertainment when they play here. We also have our Crazy Golf course which is great fun for the whole family.

What else?

Outside we have our animals enclosures, pig sty and duck pond and lots of grassy space to lie back and relax on a sunny day!

If you venture down to the bottom of the site where we have ball skills and our tree slide it really can be quite peaceful.

Plus, we are dog friendly! Dogs are welcome however must be kept on a lead at all times and are not permitted to enter animal enclosures.
