Experience the wonderful Brecon Beacons on horseback

The Brecon Beacons Explorer Horse Ride will take you onto the Brecon Beacons for a pony trek with beautiful views. Cantref is the only Riding Centre licensed to trek on the Brecon Beacons.

Explore the tranquil countryside and enjoy the panoramic views from your unique vantage point.

Your experienced and friendly guide will share with you their knowledge of the local area and point out an abundance of native wildlife along the way to enable you to get the most of your visit to the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Throughout your trek walking and trotting is included with the opportunity for the more experienced rider to canter on the hills, weather & ground conditions permitting.

All horse riders receive basic instruction before leaving and our friendly and experienced guides will ensure that an enjoyable time is had by all.

The horse ride is approx. a 2½ hour session which includes a demonstration and instruction.
